  Youth work in the Parish is for school years 6 -13 (roughly 10 -18 years)
We meet throughout term time to have fun, to learn and to pray. We also have a social evening each term and a weekend away is planned each year.
The group meets every 2 weeks at St Chad’s church on a Sunday evening, 6 -7.30pm. For further information, contact Grace Kerrigan 07807 647279 or Sally Stevenson 07527 987346

St George’s Half-term Event – Tues 20 February

St George’s Half-term event is happening from 10am to 12noon on Tues 20 Feb for children up to age 11 (Year 6), accompanied by an adult.

Parish Prayer – Weds 31 January @ St. Chad’s

Please join us to pray for the work of Christ in this parish and further afield from 7:30 to 8:30pm on Weds 31st January @ St. Chad’s Church. Everyone in the parish is very welcome.

Messy Church at St. Cecilia’s 27 January 2018

The next Messy Church at St. Cecilia’s is on Saturday 27th January from 4:00pm to 6:00pm All welcome.

St George’s Church Half-term event – Tues 24 October

Half term event at St. George’s Church for children up to the age of 11, accompanied by an adult, on Tuesday 24th October from 10.00am to 12.00noon

Parish Weekend 2017 / United Service 8 October

The Parish Weekend at Whitemoor Lakes is upon us! From 6th – 8th October 50 adults and 8 Young People / Children from our parish will be spending the weekend away for a time of fellowship, learning & worship. For those not able to attend, there is a Parish United Service (Holy Communion) @ St. Cecilia’s Church on Sunday 8th October, which is being led by the Reverend Tim Williams.

Back to School – Schoolbag Blessings

If September brings some kind of new beginning for your family, such as a child starting nursery, school or moving up a class, it can be helpful to know that God is always with us wherever we go. As the new School term starts, we pray for those working in nurseries, schools, colleges, or other educational places; and for students.

Events in St. George’s Park – 19/20 August 2017

There are 2 events taking place in St. George’s Park over the weekend of 19/20 August:
Saturday 19th Kid FEST 12-4pm and in conjunction with Horsefair and Proud. St George’s Church will also be open for refreshments. Sunday 20th MR TEE IN THE PARK 12-6pm

AN EVENING OF LOCAL TALENT at St. Cecilia’s 24 June

Concert at St. Cecilia’s at 6:45pm on Saturday 24th June. £5 on the door to raise funds for King of Hearts Creative Outreach.
