St George’s Church DY10 2ES

St George’s church is located close to the centre of Kidderminster and hosts a wide variety of services and activities.  We have five regular worship services each week ranging from a traditional said Communion Service at 8am every other Sunday morning to Worship for All, a less formal service at 11am on the 3rd Sunday of each month (normally). The church hosts a coffee shop and toddler group as well as being closely involved with the local community.

The church also has an active choir (to which new members are always welcome) for further information contact Tim Morris the Director of Music on 01562 744333. The list of music for the services this month can be downloaded here  SERVICES NOVEMBER 2018

The Building: St George’s is a “Waterloo” church – built after the battle and consecrated in 1824.  It was rebuilt after being gutted by fire in 1922. Overlooking the town centre, the church tower can be seen for miles around. Whilst it may appear imposing from the outside, St George’s has a light and airy feel, and you will always receive a warm and friendly welcome. To find out more about the history of the church, take a look at “St George’s – a Waterloo Church” by Melvyn Thompson.

The Annexe: Many different groups meet throughout the week in the annex which can be hired for special occasions and has a kitchen and meeting room.  To enquire about booking the hall, please contact Katie Hudson on 07887 500110 or 01299 822434 e-mail:
